What are the opening hours?

Velvære Spa is open Monday to Thursday from 10 am - 6 pm, and Friday to Sunday 9 am - 7pm. 

What is your booking policy?

Credit/debit card details are required to secure all bookings, including those being paid in full, or partially by gift voucher. If using a gift voucher, details will be required at the time of booking.

Is Velvære Spa wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have accessible changing rooms and toilets on the premises. The whole area is wheelchair friendly.

How do I make a booking for the Thermal Suite?

We want to ensure the best possible experience for all of our guests, therefore we ask all of our guests to pre-book their visit Thermal Suite by calling (01) 898 2929, or emailing

Can I make a booking to use the gym?

Currently, the gym is only available for use by the guests of the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.

Are refreshments served in Velvære Spa?

We serve seasonal treats, post-treatment in our Relaxation Suite. Organic Irish herbal teas and flavoured water are available.

If you would like to order a Barista made beverage, the full menu from Old Town Café is available to order.

Where is Velvære Spa located?

Velvære Spa is located at Le Pole Square, just behind the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane. 

Is it safe to visit Velvære Spa while pregnant?

We welcome mums-to-be to enjoy our spa from 12 weeks onwards. There are some experiences that due high temperatures or jets we can not recommend, for example the Sauna, Steam Room and Hydrotherapy Pool. 

All of our Facial Treatments are pregnancy safe, and full-body massages are fully tailored to each client. 

Can I use the Thermal Suite before or after a Facial Peel?

Our Thermal Suite cannot be used 72 hours before and after a facial peel as the heat is a contraindication for this treatment type. We are happy to provide our guests with a voucher for to access the Thermal Suite outside of this time period.
